any suggestions i screwed up and looked when i was mig welding a few times. i'd forget to flip the on switch on the inside of the mask, or lift it up after making the weld, my a-/b+ i got on the project is not worth the pain i am in. my eyes hurt all the time, i'm crabby because i'm terrified i'm going blind, i can't drive very well at night

You have welding flash.. ick. Put cold compresses on your eyes.. it may help... but usually it just takes time to go away. Its nothing major... my boyfriend and his dad worked in a welding shop many summers... hes had many cases of welding flash.... just give it a couple days.. if it doesnt go away go to the doctor.
