i hate to say it, but this year is pretty much looking to be a "how high is the patriot's cieling" year. i know you will lose at least one game (vs trent green and the high-powered dolphins IN miami)... i can only hope that ben roethlisberger out duels brady in a qb showdown in foxboro. i'll say the pats go 14-2 and lose in the superbowl to brett favre, riding into the sunset. seriously, packers are gonna be good this year. srsly.
and did you see that browns/bengals game? HOLY CRAP. how did derek anderson go from absolutecrapincapableofanything to 5 td's? and the lions and texans are both 2-0... WTF is going on?

the pats are ridic. i usually have a hard time rooting for them just because they are too dominant, but this week i really wanted them to blow teh chargers out of the water (and i like the chargers). i wanted this only because im sick of sports enws over the past couple months being overtaken by steriods, cheating refs, dog fighting, and the like. when this pats cheating thing came out i was pissed. only because it meant that this would be the only news for god knows how long every time i turn on espn or the nfl network. but things could not have gone better with the pats putting up another 38-14 game against a team with MUCH more cred than the jets. i feel bad for LT, but thank god the pats pwnd

the fred is dead name actually has hit a chord with people up here because of its many meanings -drop dead fred is a song AND a movie title -there are apparently many references to dead fred in alot of random songs -Fred Weasley dies in the last Harry Potter book and we predicted it before the book even was released -the show I just went to had a random grave in the middle of the courtyard and to our collective astonishment it was Fred
the significance piles up but maybe you are right about the band name as we have thought about changing it multiple times
haha, kids on seasaws would be a great (yet sketchy) album title. and song title. a bit too sketchy for a band name. that is, if one were to assume that the band name was not referring to band members, but rather actual children on seasaws and that you all had enough of an interest in this topic to name your band after them = sketchy.
if you do keep the name FiD, then i suggest coming up with some very intriguing (and obviously fake) story about the band's name. with enough cred from your actual music, the name will in time be fine, but until that time the name comes off kind of, how do you say, middleschoolish. then again, the Beatles is a terrible band name, and that turned out alright.
