In the spring. :-) It's been about a dozen years since I was there.

I thought it was my favorite city, but then I saw London.

I'm SO jealous. I'm reading Julia Child's "My Life in Paris" right now and I want to go SO BAD. You'll have a fabulous time I'm sure!

Nice icon btw.

You'll get there! You'll get there! Don't wait until you have "enough money". There's never enough money. Just buy a round-trip ticket somehow, and go. The in-between will take care of itself.

He's so beautiful, I hate him. My boobs are bigger though.

Why yes! Yes I am.

In the spring, with my peeps. My pound. My crew. Yo.

I'm still suffering flashbacks from London, where my feet hurt so bad it made me long for the sweet release of death.

Alas, those are almost exactly the shoes I wore to London that murdered my poor feets. Comfy, but not enough sturdy support.

The last time I was in Paris (as I told the Manolo) I wore high-heeled maryjanes the whole time and I was FINE. Ah, youth!

London is beyond awesome. There IS no better city.

What, you're going to Paris?! I'm jealous! :D Whereabouts are you staying? Planning anything super-fantastic while you're there? Details, love, I must have details! :D

Also, you're internet famous now!

Going in the spring! We have no real plans yet, but we're buying the tickies by the end of the month. We'll figure it out when we get there!

I KNOW! I tried to get him NOT to use my real name, because it's kind of... obviously ME. Not as unique as Picabo Street, but close enough for me to feel creeped out!

How you doin'?

Cool beans! My favorite area was the span of the Rue de Rivoli from the Place de la Concorde all the way down to the Hotel de Ville, plus all the street vendors, etc., around Chatelet-Les Halles and the Pompidou Center. Be sure to get a chicken, egg, cheese, and mushroom crepe! Two meals' worth for 5 Euro! Or see if you can find a place selling grecs -- flatbread sandwiches made with cucumber sauce, lettuce, tomato, roti lamb (the kind used to make gyros), and french fries on top. YUM! Also, there's a grocery store on Rue Rambuteau that sells Smurf gummi bears that are totally yummy! :)

I'm doing well, all things considered. How are you?

Are you going to buy those shoes? I would think think that coming from the higest authority, the God Manolo, you would HAVE to!

I'm going to Paris also, but over Thanksgiving. My first time. But, I left my heart in London, so it will take alot to be more impresive.

Hope all is well with you!

Unfortunately, those elasticy shoes murdered my feet in London. I need something in an ugly orthopedic shoe, I guess. Or, you know, a Segway.

I wore these in London and they were fabulous! http://www.rei.com/product/658515?vcat=REI_SSHP_FOOTWEAR_TOC
I'm not very savvy with this LJ thing, so I don't know how to link this page.

It linked! I got them in black and they actually didn't look too frumpy...or maybe they did, but I didn't care! I was comfy. I think they have a summer version also.
