Such a girlcrush on her, ever since I saw Singing in the Rain. Hoo boy.

I had no idea until reading various obits that she had been with the Ballet Russe!

That's the exact scene I fell in love with her for. She looks like she's 12' tall, but I found out today that she's only 5'6"!

She was only 5'6" tall? !!! So beautifully proportioned, I thought she must be at least 6 ft tall. What a classy woman she was.
