Hehee, I can’t believe I forgot to post this! Oh, man. Seems my memory isn’t all that good after all, eh? To start from the beginning ( Read more... )

And you get to be super bright and have someone want you to have their babies...

Well, yes, sometimes it's quite nice to have one's ego stroked. :)

Though the babies reference still makes me shudder. If he were the last man on Earth, maybe.

That was fun to read through, though it was probably a pain in the ass to live through. Some of the tests sounded fun, some sounded like pure torture.

Congrats on passing your exams! ^_^

Thanks!

Uh, yeah, some of that week was ... not so nice. Especially the work thingy on Wednesday. Nope. Not my thing at all. I'm happy to analyse literature for the rest of my life, thank you very much. :)

Yeah, the tests were cool. Even the nasty ones like the math thing or the cubes. They felt like a challenge. I like being challenged. :)

Even though it turns out I failed the cubes. *snickers*

*Snort!* Well, we did know you were super bright.

Test Five is My Test. I think they must have started giving that sort of test to my generation when I was about four, and so by the time I reached university and sacrificed myself to the psych dept occasionally in a bid to earn enough favours that they would let me use their computers for their Arpanet connections, I routinely scored 100% on that sort of test. Which always led to them looking at me oddly, since women aren't 'meant' to do well on this one.

To which I would always reply, introduce girls to it when they are four and don't tell them they can't do it.

I hope that a good job comes along soon for you!

I don't feel very bright, but it's nice to have one's ego stroked. :)

Yay for sucker-punching stereotypes! *lol* Psycho-man said that the Cube Test is a skill that can be trained, but I don't think I'll ever be more than average. On the other hand, I know I'm better than the test says I am! After all, I've never run into walls, door frames, or furniture (while sober), so my stereoscopic vision can't be that bad. ;)

If we all keep our fingers crossed, I might have a job starting December 1st!
