The Pantages Theatre, Canada's oldest vaudeville theatre, is being restored to its former glory and reopened for use by the Vancouver Opera, the Vancouver Cantonese Opera and Vancouver Moving Theatre by the Pantages Theatre Arts Society. ohh wow that is exciting about the Pantages theatre! my mom's longtime boyfriend is a Pantages, his family are the ones that opened those theatres. there is one in LA too!
downtown LA is one of the most rotten disgusting places to see, streets after streets of decaying beautiful old theatres and hotels. it is crazy!

really? that surprises me. i always had the impression that LA preserved its history better. i guess that sort of thing is everywhere,though. yeah i think you told me about your mum's boyfriend. that's pretty cool.
