Yeah, after '04, when I was SO SURE that Bush couldn't possibly be elected again, it didn't really hit me until his acceptance speech.

I say this now with no trace of irony for a change: AMERICA. FUCK YEAH. (Okay, maybe a little irony.)

And yeah, Prop 8. I donated $50 to the No On 8 group. While I don't expect the world to change completely overnight, here's hoping that we get a little bit closer.
