i don't have an internet connection at home anymore. there was a period of a couple weeks where i went through serious withdrawal, but i think, now, it's for the best. things get done (!) and you cut back on idle/zoning-out websurfingtime when your use is limited to public areas (habits are harder to hide, etc.), i've found.

yes, i agree! i was without the internet at home for the past four years and i definitely think it is healthier; i think as soon as i'm done with my online grantwriting class i'll turn it off...which will mean more fun bureaucratic bullshit with comcast! yay! :)
