I spend more time imagining what I would write and what an emotional release it would be than physically putting pen to paper or fingers to keys and spelling out the words. I finally figured out what went wrong with my grandparents' computer. It turns out that when I got frustrated with Deus Ex 2's choppy framerate, I decided to download and install ATI Radeon's Catalyst 3.9 driver over the Catalyst 5.6 driver that I had installed earlier this summer. Two months of home-cooked authentic Chinese food ahead of me. Whee!

I dropped by the Peabody Museum today to learn flint-knapping, yay! Knapping is so therapeutic -- it takes your mind off the worries of the modern world, and it feels so satisfying to watch flakes chip off and a piece of stone forming into a recognizable shape. What a great way to vent frustration.
