i'm impressed, i've always respected powel and though he'd be a good president

I was really impressed with this, in part because it wasn't solely an endorsement of Obama (in may ways, that was the smallest part) -- it was a condemnation of the tactics of Powell's own party, and an endorsement of intellectual vigor and openmindedness over divisiveness and rumor-mongering. kfringe and I were actually tearing up over it.
