So. My monitor died, AGAIN. I had just replaced it in late April. I'll grant it that I replaced it with a "cheap" one, however, lasting less than a year is ridiculous. so when I first started reading it I thought it said your mother died! I was shocked and then I saw AGAIN, and I was like wtf? then reread it. That sucks, but I'm really glad it's not your mother.

lol. You can be sure that if my mother died, the last thing I would be doing is making a livejournal post about it. I'm glad it wasn't my mother either, though.

i meant, does the monitor still have a warranty on it? Cause i'm sure most electronics now have some warranty.

It has a year warranty, which I am still within. However, upon reading about it, I think its actually more cost/time effective to just get a new one. They make you pay to ship it to them (both ways), then its a 4-6 week "fixing" period or some bullshit. I cannot go that long without one, even if it was free. I bought it through best buy, but the warranty they give you is only a 30 or 90 day one (both of which would be long expired), so i can't just go in and swap it for a new one. Boo...
