Chemo Sucks

Last week I started my first round of chemo. Man it sucks. I only have two minor symptoms right now, I cannot swallow cold things and my tongue is tingly, but I had to wear a pump for 48 hours. Mom is currently going through the hell cycle of chemo too (stage 4 pancreatic and liver so far). Usually she goes in, gets the 6 hrs of infusions, then gets the pump for 2 days too. She feels like utter crud for the first few days after the pump is removed, same intolerance to hot or cold as you, fingertips too. She has found drinking things like Boost and those sort of drinks, while not tasty at room temp, do help keep the nutrients going in. She also feels like a truck hit her for about a week after. So it may be the same cycle you have to go through every time. It sucks but you know there is an end as you will feel better before you get next chemo treatment, then it begins again.
