Someone on youtube had the sense to pair this lovely video with the acoustic version of The Day The World Went Away from 'Still' (I never really liked the version on 'The Fragile' as much).

My hope is that one day Trent will release an entire album full of piano music. Anyway, this is really one of my favourite music videos. Beautiful images.

I remember picking up the fragile when it first came out.
It might have been because i was so wide eyed and young but i remember those few months when i listened to it non stop, the album giving me this heavy sense of.. i don't even know what to call it. Especially tracks like la mer it was just.. wow.

But now when i listen to it i can't help but wonder how i managed to filter out Trent's angsty teenager lyrics all those years back. i've always preferred his instrumental stuff. I love the guy, even after he cut his hair and hit the gym but his...lyrics are just...ugh. How's year zero by the way have you heard it? I can't bear to listen to it , all my childhood heros are dying, billy corgan and marilyn manson... Good thing thom yorke and maynard james keenan are still delivering

Uh, I'm actually listening to Year Zero right now. I was really underwhelmed when it came out, because I thought it was just another With Teeth but I've started to really like it in the last couple of months.

Yeah I picked it up a year or two after it came out, I love some of the songs but stuff like 'Starfuckers, Inc' just makes me go WTF.

Actually I don't think the lyrics are that bad now, but that's cause I was listening to Filter last week and that was just so unbelievably bad, lyrically.

Yeah, Trent is all beefy like He-Man now. What's up with that. Everyone's getting OLD.

Billy Corgan? Isn't Zeitgeist any good? I've heard a couple of samples and I thought 'Doomsday Clock' was a good song... I really hate everything post-Melon Collie though. I haven't checked out Zeitgeist yet though.
