i'm reading going to start reading "what is the what" after my summer school class is over.
as for suggestions: 1) anything charles bukowski (he's really cynical, but it's funny) 2) "naked" by davis sedaris 3) "fahrenheit 451" by ray bradbury (i hadn't read it until last year. very good. very well written) 4) "a confederacy of dunces" by john kennedy toole (i have yet to read it, but i heard it was rather entertaining) 5) "house of leaves" by mark danielewski (the book is written based on foot notes, it a really weird book. i'm still in the process of reading it) 6) "james in the giant peach" by roald dahl (yes, a children's book, but i still like it)
hello my friend. im so stoked you have a summer reading list! that's a lot!!! i am only going to recommend one which is huge cuz i have SO many good suggestions but this book is just so good, and i just want to emphasize how much you should read this one alone so i'm not gonna suggest any others but..... the fall by albert camus. easy read too, super short, but SO incredibly life changing.
