hope you don't mind me commenting on this entry, I love book lists! what did you think of ulysses? isn't it amazing how that entire novel was written in one day? have you ever read mrs dalloway by... gah, her name escapes me at the moment... it's based on the same premise of ulysses, in fact, they have a lot of similarities. oh! virginia woolf! also, have you read dubliners by the same author (joyce

I found ulysses oddly discordant & very ecletic and now you tell me that it was written in one day, that would explain it! But it was hardly horribly written, though- shows you how good of a writer joyce was
