Hey, I've been meaning to get in touch with you. I'm glad you finally posted or I would have forgotten again. I got the job with University Relations! Mr. Jarnigan hinted that it was largely in part of your recommendation. He thinks very highly of you. He wants you to get in touch with him soon because he wants to keep up with you :). So give him a call or an email so I don't look bad! Just kidding. But not really. I wanted to write you a letter or an email but I don't know any of your addresses, so even though this seems pretty informal I want you to know I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for recommending me for the job. If that wasn't completely what got me the job then I know it was the clincher. I appreciate it so much. Thank you really encompasses what I want to say. I hope you're doing well and I want to see you soon. I'm glad you like UAH. Oh! Hey Hens! Guess what! I tried out for the spring play! It was a really spur of the moment decision, so I didn't really have my monologue memorized very well, but I managed to make callbacks which were tonight, so I find out tomorrow if I get a part. (Wow, that was a really long sentence; maybe it made sense.) It was a lot of fun just auditioning, and everyone was really nice, so I will be cool with whatever happens. I'm so glad you are enjoying UAH. My year is awesome so far mostly due to the fact that I am now a "Lady of the L." :-) Talk to ya later!

Update: I got a part in the play! It's not a very big part, but hey, you have to start somewhere. I got cast as a wallflower (yep, I think it's pretty funny, too) and I'm also part of an ensemble that is a pretty big part of moving props and stuff around the set. We are supposed to pick up a copy of the script from Professor Greene, but I have no idea where to find said person. Any suggestions?
