It's being produced by Viva La Muerte, who produced the Heavy Metal burlesque show where I performed my Iron Man act

when i was a kid i wasn't allowed to watch those movies, but i saw a movie trailer for one of them, and after that i decided that i couldn't play with my red-haired doll anymore. :)

patrick also suggested "gremlins"... that i should have little gremlins glued all over my dress like they were attacking me, and that i should rip them (and my clothes) off.
...he tries. :)

Oooh, I would be all over that, but unfortunately, another local performer did a Bride of Frankenstein act in October for a Halloween-themed show. (And not very well, either.) I think it's too soon to do it without being accused of ripping her off and starting tons-o-drama.

Crazy! I've never seen Hellraiser... I just thought that was some random creepy chick on the flier! Let the googling commence! :)

Oh man, Hellraiser the movie does the book no justice so I kinda hate on the movie, but the cenobites are this race that tortures for pleasure. Clive Barker is kinda obsessed with stuff like that, hence the toys. They're technically not cenobites, but it's the same idea. They're called Tortured Souls, search for them, you'll get lots of ideas. It's a whole race of people so it's not like you'd have to be one specific character.

The chick in the flyer is the high priestess, and pinhead's like the head dude. You know pinhead, I'm sure.

There's also a Tech N9ne song that has the Hellraiser bit in the beginning that you might be able to use for your intro so people "get it". I'll find it if I can.

... my parents did not approve of "roseanne." i had to sneak watching it, along with "married with children" and "the simpsons." :P

oh, and we're so on the same page- "the birds" was actually one of my first thoughts, but then i nixed it because i thought it had to be all gory and hardcore, but now someone else has snatched it up! meh.

and "rockin robin"... that's fucked up. i love it. :)
