Great job with the new routine! I feel your pain about the mold. We had that happen in Richmond. I found some stuff online about how to treat it...basically using a combination of soapy water and bleach and Borax (all separately), which got rid of the worst of it, but it still came back a bit from time to time. I wish our landlords had just gotten a professional to take a look at it, but their "handyman" didn't really know what he was doing. I hope you're able to get rid of it soon!

Thanks! I had my share of the black mold of doom in Richmond, too- especially during hurricane season. I think that's why I'm extra cranky about it- I totally expect to have to deal with mold in the South, where it's warm and humid. I mean, if I moved back to Richmond, I'd already know that mold is just part of the rental package.

But it's 45 degrees outside, and not much warmer inside my apartment. I feel like the mold is just going out of it's way to piss me off. :)

I'll have to try the Borax thing, thanks for the tip!
