strep throat. cabin fever. when will this godforsaken season end?

i think a ghost touched me last night.
i was laying in bed, drifting towards sleep, when i suddenly felt someone drum their fingers across my chest. just below my left collarbone.
hard enough to feel the vibrations fill my lungs.
it was not patrick.

i'm sure there's some psycho/physiological jargony explanation for it.
or maybe we have

i have been smelling peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (where there are none) for the past two days. is this some oddly delicious warning sign of an impending stroke??

Dear Chicago,

It's not that I don't appreciate the warm weather. I'm looking forward to the 50 degree Saturday that we've all been promised. BUT. Going from 18 degrees to 50 degrees over the course of 3 days makes every bone in my body feel like this:
