Slowly going insane am i...yes

I must be, how else could I explain the latest thought to cross my head. First a little background. I hated basic. Absolutely hated it. Worst time in my life. Ever. Strange how you hate climbing the mountain but love the view. I started out not liking the Navy. It took 2 years for me to figure out how to play the Navy game on my ship. After that it became so much easier. But I never felt pride in what I was doing until I talked to someone out of the Military. I have so much more pride for what I did after I came back. I believe it's because your no longer surrounded around others in the same boat. People will be proud with what you've done so far. But it seems that life is like a book the harder the challenge the better the feeling.

So if don't have anything that is keeping you from doing it I'd go for it. Failing isn't as bad as not trying.
