Everyman: crash, reboot

This alarm clock is killing me (softly with its songbeep). I'll back up a little, though, I have a couple days to report on.

Wednesday was a bit icky, but okay. I tried setting my alarm clock for a different tone, but overslept by two hours, not waking up until 6:30. So my morning was a little rushed, but I still had breakfast and got into work by around 8:45-- good thing, because I had an appointment to give blood at 9:00. (Which went just fine, incidentally. I love having large veins, sometimes.) I delayed my morning nap by an hour, and my afternoon nap by about half an hour, and I was feeling nicely back on schedule.

Unfortunately, Thursday didn't go nearly as well. I tried changing the alarm tone again, but this time it didn't get me up at all. I didn't wake up until 9 or 10, and I had a massive headache (likely from the oversleep). I called in sick to work and blamed it on the snow. And I didn't take any naps on Thursday-- I already felt kinda... well, "bloated" I guess you could call it, but from sleep, not food. So I was feeling right sleepy by the time 1:30 rolled around, and ready for my core. I've decided I'm just not going to count Thursday at all in my adjustment schedule, assuming I get back on track.

This morning was a little better. I set the alarm clock back to the original tone, and it did wake me up-- unfortunately, I forgot that, with two days of botched wakeups, my morning routine is shot, so I had a moment of confusion then fell back asleep. I finally got up and out of bed around 7 or so, and I took a shower and headed into work. Morning nap went fairly well, though my earphones are giving out on me. I really need a new pair. Also, I need a new alarm clock. Perhaps I'll go shopping when I go out to lunch.
