In honor of actually having a place to live that isn't my parents' house, I'm throwing a shindig at my apartment this Saturday, August 16. Expect some video games (Rock Band and Mario Kart Wii will both be making an appearance), some food (I'll be baking pizza, since it's been a while since I last did that), maybe a movie if people are in the mood

I'd love to go, but I already made plans with another friend to hang out that day... How late is your shindig going on? Maybe I can appear for the end of it. Is Emily coming?

Yes, Emily is coming, and it's starting around 6 so there will be people there quite late. If you can come at all, it would be awesome! =)
