I understand where you are coming from with this. For me it's been a consider path to accept my dominant side. My family, as well as a number of people in my early adulthood, pushed quite hard to suppress my more dominant behaviors. These behaviors are a major part of my non-sexual life, and they are a moderate part of the sexual one as well. Obviously my family has no knowledge or sway over the romantic side, but the more overt behaviors outside the bedroom are tagged all the time
