Does anyone (Dan, Steve, Xav, I'm looking at you) know of any decent SQL courses?

My manager is looking at doing one due to Norm and I converting all of the current databases and datafiles into SQL databases.

Ah thanks, you've reminded me that the course needs to be for Microsoft SQL Server.

Well, I will find them, as I've been tasked with finding them, so expect details in your email tomorrow I guess.

http://www.google.com.au/search?q=SQL+tutorial

The 3 DB subjects at Swinburne are quite good (if a little dry), but are really focused on oracle. They run over summer also.
Are you looking for a DBA sort of course, or just how to set up tables and queries? From what I've heard SQL Server is fairly self-explanatory for basic administration. Oracle, on the other hand, requires multiple highly-paid consultants.

Yeah, SQL server is pretty self-explanatory.
Which would be why Norm and I aren't doing the course, the manager is because she wants to be "hands on" and "pro active".

Hmm, I went a little overboard there, she's pretty good usually.

But she wants to do a course so she's doing a course.
