The biggest thing happening today is me going to order checks. Which I guess is pretty big since I've NEVER ORDERED CHECKS BEFORE. I'm kind of scared. What if they're like, "No, you have waited too long, it's too late, you don't get a checkbook." and then they whap me with a rolled up newspaper

Well, they didn't hit me with a newspaper. Or even give me a judgmental look! And I had the added bonus of feeling extra grownup by accomplishing something at the bank.
