i know how you feel. i feel that way sometimes about my grandmothers, who both have passed on. i never knew my grandfathers cuz both of them passed away before my eldest sibling was even born.
but my grandmothers....they were cool. i used to watch those old school kung fu movies with my mom's mom cuz she loved them. she even told me she like David Karodene (sp?) that ollddddddddd kung fu guy who had his own tv show :P
and my dad's mom, she used to be the one that brought me to kindergarten class, and would take me to mcdonald's after school almost everyday (maybe that's why im as big as i am today =P)
but yeah, those are just 2 short, little stories about my grams'

if u feel down, maybe if i tell you over LJ right now, that next saturday, march 25th i will be in new york city :)
plans have changed again for the better, so i'll be there for about 2 days or so (friday & saturday. and i think i leave sunday). so wherever im going saturday night, if u wanna meet up, i'll let u know where i'll be :)
