That kind of attitude made it difficult to feel sympathetic… even if he did feel some pity for her. Watching anyone crying or in pain wasn’t pleasant at all. ]

There is nothing difficult. This foolish body is reacting on its own. I was out here to simply let it finish what it wanted to do, so that I could go about my business, and my communicator turned on.

Ah, but disgusting is in the eye of the beholder! So to speak. And many insects are fierce fighters, or hard workers! Like ants! Who works harder than an ant? And they can survive almost anything. Really, insects are quite remarkable.
