I just burned my mouth on my soup /o\

Instead of attempting a life update at the moment, let's talk about TV.

  • I finally finished series 4 of Merlin, and SERIOUSLY? Arthur still doesn't know that Merlin has magic? *shakes head* I mean, it was a fine finale, but I'm really disappointed that they haven't dealt with that issue yet. While it's still enjoyable enough, I've been steadily losing interest in Merlin since somewhere in S2, and this whole secret business is getting frustrating. I'd been crossing my fingers that Arthur would find out this series, but alas. Hey, at least he didn't get knocked unconscious right before Merlin gets all wizardy this this time! Small victories. I would have much preferred it to end like this fic (Merlin/Arthur AU that diverges from canon after 4x11) by destina.
  • I maybe watched the first 7 episodes of Teen Wolf? So far it's fun, but I'm not totally on the bandwagon yet. I've heard it takes a little while to really get the appeal, so I'm willing to see more, for sure. Hilariously, my dad has watched almost all of it with me so far. He Who Scorns Shows Like Buffy keeps asking to see more episodes, lololol. I think he likes the ridiculousness of it all, and will probably stop caring when/if it actually gets good. He keeps talking about how amusing the coach is, heh.
  • TA Boy and I got a chance to watch the first episode of Game of Thrones last week! I can't say much about it yet, because one episode doesn't tell me a lot, but I'm excited to see more. It might take a while to get through it because we're trying to watch it together and we don't have as much free time together for TV these days. So many shows, so little time!
  • I'm in S4 of Daria now, and really liking it. There's a lot more substance to it than I thought there'd be based on the few episodes I saw growing up. The voice acting is pretty great.
Alright, I think that's all I have to say about TV. I will attempt to not take forever to post again!
