I keep wanting to post here and then not doing it because I can't figure out how to write down the things I want to say. It used to be fairly natural to update about what was happening in my life or a band/tv show/movie/etc that I was excited about, but now it just feels like a big production to plan out exactly what I'm going to write. tumblr is my new favourite, and I'm on there the most, but I do still love Livejournal. It's just so dead nowadays, though, from everybody, including myself a bit.

I do visit tumblr more than twitter, and really enjoy it for pretty pictures, but I haven't really broken into interacting there at all. Ha, I am definitely contributing to the LJ being dead thing. I wish I could get back into the habit of posting more, but the lack of posts in general makes it harder to get in the swing of.

It is hard! I go through phases of being on tumblr a lot, but yeah, I've never gotten the hang of interacting with people there, either. Le sigh.

Oh man, it was ridiculously good. Apparently I really ship Stan/Kyle now, haha. Oh, fandom.

I hear you on finding it harder to update on LJ for some reason. I used to do it daily, but now sometimes days will pass, and I tend to c/p from emails more than write up new posts for my journal. It's sad and I wonder what it is. It's like a universal shift away from LJ posting. My LJ friends list used to take an hour or so to catch up on after a day away, and now it's like...20 posts. :(

It does seem to be a universal shift. It's pretty fascinating to watch it happen, but also makes me sad. I keep hoping it'll shift back, but that doesn't seem too likely. Oh yes, my flist used to take so much longer to catch up on than it does these days, and it seems to be mostly communities instead of actual people. You still make more posts than most other people on my flist, which I'm always happy to read. :)
