2014 Resolutions

Just realized I only posted these to tumblr and not to LJ (what a crazy backwards world we live in!) and I want to have a record of them here, as well.

So here, super late and copied/slightly edited from tumblr, are my resolutions for 2014:

  • Do 50 Push Ups [I've been doing push ups every day for the past...2 months? My record is 33 38, so I think ( Read more... )

Your resolutions are all really fun! I've got vouchers for yoga and gym classes, too - super excited to use them. :D Do let us know how the kimchi/sauerkraut/pickle-making endeavour turns out - I really want to make kimchi sometime!

:D Ooh yoga class! I haven't been to one in ages (though I've done some at home), but I would like to go again. Hope you have fun! I'm excited to try making kimchi. TA Boy's mom makes it sometimes, so maybe I can get her to show me how to do it. :)

I like your swim in 10 different places idea. I think you can do it, for sure.

you and the boy should write a song together and sing it at the wedding! or maybe that would be too cheesy.

And as a huge supporter of grad school and just education in general, I definitely support pondering grad school. Even if you decide it's not something you're into, it should definitely be considered.

Yeah, it should be achievable! I really like swimming, so hopefully this will convince/remind me to do it more often.

Haha we've thought about doing that! I suppose it'll depend on how the song writing actually goes, and if we come up with something that wouldn't be too embarrassing to sing. ;)

Indeed! It's been a vague thought for a while, but I think I should start looking into programs and such to see if there's one I might be interested in. (That's the problem really, that I don't know exactly what I'd want to study, so I wouldn't want to spend the money on it unless I really found a program that I know I would enjoy).

Awesome resolutions! I have on-going goals or things I want to do but whenever I make formal New Year's resolutions I never keep them. Yours seem pretty reasonable (and interesting) though!

Thanks! I like to make fun/silly resolutions because...well, they're fun. ;) And usually more achievable! I often forget about them throughout the year and then find out I've done some by accident.
