Pleasingly and admittedly slightly surprisingly, I actually do know where I'm going with my remix fic. Huh! And I have a bit of a lull in academic work right now while I wait for data from a couple of people, so the odds are in its favour in the brain-space hunger games. Goodness ( Read more... )

Ah, I envy you. I haven't started mine yet, although I think I have some idea of what to do with it. Something uninspired, alas. But not all remixes can be brilliant reimaginings. At least it's set in the POV of a character I've never written before. Er, whether or not that's a good thing remains to be seen.

Now I'm terribly curious as to where your commas originally landed. Such are the things that occupy one's brain at going on two in the morning. Off to bed with me, or I'll be in extremely loopy and probably cranky at work tomorrow.

I've only got about fifty words written, in fairness, but it feels nice to have a very definite direction. I'm sure it's not the most creative reinterpretation either but I'm happy with my plan.

All over the place. *g* Commas in Swedish are less-used & not generally grammatical in function so it's a bit of a free-for-all. I definitely use commas a lot less than I used to when writing English, too. Strange side-effects of living in a second language.
