In lieu of a satisfying job, beautiful girlfriend and worthwhile hobbies, I've decided to devote my not-particularly-valuable time to travelling around and attending music festivals. When did you acquire your beautiful girlfriend? That's good news for you.

In America, most White people are darker than you. Oddly enough, Iraqi immigrants are often mistaken for Whites.

I'm impressed by your festival list; you are a gig-buff. I just can't believe that you're not coming to see the Sisters of Mercy in Leeds on 8th April.

i.e Instead of...a beautiful girlfriend. Although things are still a bit odd on that front, I'm not sure quite what to do.

Ah, I see. My French has deteriorated to a minimal level now. So, you don't have a satisfying job or worthwhile hobbies either. Poor Adam. We'll have to have a charity collection for your gigging.

It should be fun, so long as you remember not to get shot :-) (There's something about flying that makes it very hard for me not to start speculating aloud on how one would go about bypassing security for various purposes... It's a really bad habit, and thankfully I've not flown anywhere with people who haven't shut me up before I reached passport control yet ;-) )

I remember once saying rather loudly when just through airport security "Time to scrounge me some benefits!" My friend look appalled.

Kit's argument against me making "You know, most chemistry students could quite easily blow up a plane using teeny tiny quantities of things..." type comments is that the people with the guns might be among them...

In accordance with the Londoner's Creed, everything west of Bristol is "Cornwall". I refuse to acknowledge the existence of "Somerset" on ethical grounds.
