A couple weeks ago I bought a thing of Pocky at the grocery store, because I had heard it was awesome.
I just got around to trying it as my afternoon snack. It was pretty good, but not OMGWTFBBQLOLZ good, as I had been lead to believe. -

Going down to Orlando this weekend for Dreamblade. I am excited...it's sort of like being on the Pro Tour for Magic. Except for that whole "not having to qualify" thing. Except I kind of AM qualified, on account of being decent at the game. I really hope I at least do well enough to break even on the trip so I can roll it forward into another trip ( Read more... ) -

For some reason I am in a really pissy mood today. I think at least part of it was accepting the prize split from my opponent in the finals at the 1K on Saturday. I crushed him when we played the game for points...grr. -
weird dream
So I had this dream the other night. My brother was telling me how I ought to get my resume in order because my job was going to be ending soon (!). Later in the dream I was interviewing for some new job, and the guy told me I needed to go feed some leaves to an elephant. I went to do it and the elephant was all pissy so I was like WTF? FF12
I finished Final Fantasy 12 last night (the story anyway...haven't done the uberbosses they always litter RPGs with these days). Overall, I'm not really impressed with the game. I guess it just didn't engage me as much as most of the other FFs did. It reminds me the most of FF8, in that there were long, long stretches of play in between ( Read more... ) -
