Just got a voice message from my dermatologist saying that the two biopsies "looked fine." Unless there's some radically bizarro medical-speak switcheroo they use, I'm guessing I can interpret that as "NOT CANCER

Hopefully China provides no aversive situations at all. And congratulations on being benign.

Negative Punishment seems to be the thing that works best on our toddler. If she starts spitting, whining, or acting up...all I have to do is leave the room. She stops, whines "Mommy! I want to see you! I'll be good" and we are done. Loveliness.

Offers of raisins (her fave food) or such if she is good....doesn't work worth beans. Negative reinforcement works fairly well, but isn't always possible.
