That was bad. She probably had no job.
Either way, it was best not to be alone while intoxicated, right? Right. So it hadn't taken long to get a hop, and here she was now, banging on Steve's door.
"STEVE. Steve. Let me IN!"

"Y'got her fine, that's good." Stepping back, leaning a little to hard on the door and listening to its creak, Steve grimaced a bit. This wasn't the worst experience of his life, but it was ranking high.

"Steeeeeeeeeeve!" She was obviously thrilled to see him, and at least this time she wasn't a tiger. That was good news. Of course, this makes the second time she's seen him and something has been...wrong with her.
"Yeah, yeah I'm here, weird bein' hopped by a video game lady but s'all good."

"Video game lady? What'a you talking 'bout?" His speech patterns would horrify him when he was sober, but until then, he' slur his words together as much as he liked.
