Man... last night someone smashed the window out of the fish n chips / pizza by the slice place that recently opened across the street. I imagine some vagrant being kicked out trying to buy a slice of pizza and a coke with 47 cents in nickles and pennies, and returning later, brick in hand, to reap his vengeance

For the record, I said "ooh, what are you doing?!" NOT "ooh, where are you going?!"

And I would have been down like a clown for a visit during Satur-DAY but we're stuck babysitting Dave's anklebiting nephew...perhaps an evening visit?

I have a whole list of obnoxious options for a day off: the japanese tea garden in the city, the oakland zoo, the great mall (I told you it was obnoxious) in milpitas, arby's in south city, the cemetary in san bruno, the skate park in millbrae, and finally, why not mixing villa in belmont? I heard they have beer and a young baby who not only smiles a lot but is pre-teething and energetic! What fun!

Alas, Ive yet to achieve the perfect, harmonious synergy of 'doing' something without 'going' anywhere when someone else is involved. When its just me... no problems. When another person is along for the ride (or lack thereof)... it doesnt quite work out. So, unfortunately 'doing' and 'going' are pretty interchangable.

I, for one, would love to pop by and see you all. Saturevening is fine. I'll let you know for certain after I've had a chance to compare notes with H. Perhaps, in addition to beer and babies some takeout and maybe some kind of rented cinematic diversion could be involved? I kindof wanna see Nap Dynamite this weekend... just so I can either confirm or refute my longstanding feeling that I will hate it. Have you all seen it yet?

I'm still stuck trying to figure out what goes on SaturDAY... but that will sort itself out.

We haven't seen Nappy D yet either...I suspect everyone in the room will hate it, but it might be the smash hit we've all been searching for. You converge with your lady, I'll converge with mine and we should be good to go. Theoretically.
