The Fundamental Theory of Slam Strategy

Advantage in a cumulatively scored slam can be measured by the relationship between the difference in total scores and score creep.  In a clean-slate scoring system, advantage is measured solely by reading position.

My theory is that to most audiences, a slam is a game show. To the rest it is like a story or a TV episode.

Each have a story arc. A beginning, a climax and a conclusion and the audience will judge the poems so the show fits their expectations.

Hello, just wanted to send you a short note, since I just added you as a friend. I caught your performance at the MPSL finals here in Columbus and was really impressed. A friend of mine from the Writers' Block (Scott Woods' night) pointed me to your LJ. I hear you're going to be at the Black Pearl soon, is that this coming Tuesday?
