its clearly evil ! you've heard the minor key it drops in to whenever i walk past.

perhaps it is just that you are evil, and the carousel feels obliged to provide you with a fitting soundtrack?

happy new year! roseinyrteeth January 6 2004, 13:10:34 UTC
that first photo is so vivid it almost doesn't look real; i don't know if i've ever seen a carasoul all lit up like that before but it's beautiful. the only one i've ever been to was one in the berkeley hills in california and there was something really scary about it, all the horses looked sort of evil.

& i *need* to stop biting my fingernails, it's the same resolution i've had every new years since i was old enough to bite them

try quitting on your left hand whilst continuing to bite your right hand. then, when the time comes to swap hands, you ought (in theory) have lost the impulse to bite your left hand at all!

one of the carousel horses was named colin - how fantastic is that?!

I bite my fingernails, too. I've tried simply everything, so I'm just learning to live with it. (although, I don't think my mother shall ever get used to it.)

the pictures are so stunning; things lit up are always so pretty. x x x
