desperately creating and things; i ordered a lomo lc-a; i've been splodging watercolour all evening; i'm going to try and wrestle some film into the sturdy russian body of my zenit-e. distraction is the only solution.

i got an lc-a a few weeks ago too. i've had a holga for a while, but it's just too big and clunky and difficult to really take anywhere or be bothered to fuss around with very often. i'm quite excited, my first film is ready to be processed now. we must compare results!

i originally planned to get a holga, and i may still, but the colours that the lc-a produce; mmmf. you DID have a holga, that's right, because you took those fantastic photos of anna belle with it! i remember now. they were deeply beautiful. we ought to put on a joint lomo/toycam exhibition someday.

i can't wait to see this film of yours. will you take your lomo to china? more to the point, will you have a static address there? i could send you pictures! (or maybe i ought just get a camera phone. my phone is so old school)

mmmf indeed, i'm completely ridiculously excited about the possibilities of it. we totally will put on a joint exhibition. i need to do something together with you oneday, like that. it just feels right.

i am taking it to china, that's the main reason i allowed myself to get it really. it seems like a lomo would bring out the natural colours of china, or at least what i imagine them to be. & yes, i'll have a static address! i have an idea what it might be now, but i'll wait until i'm actually there to give it out just incase. i'd love photos, i want as many as poss, need reminders of home and wall decoration :) i'll probably write actual paper letters there too, since there won't be internet in my room and it'll be more difficult to get onto it for e-mails. i will be online, but i don't really have any clue how often.

& old-skool is cute, but camera phones are better. i'm completely infatuated with mine and i only got it the other day.

will your phone work normally in china? i have no idea how these things work overseas. or at all. bring back telegraphs, that's what i say! a couple of my friends went to china a few years ago and one of them was just transfixed by the colours of the place; he said it was dreamlike. you're so lucky to be going. <3 <3
