Three Line Stories: Leave me a prompt, a character and/or pairing, and a fandom and I will write you a three line fic.

Fandoms: Chicago Fire, Grey's Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries - and crossovers thereof.

Last time I did this, most of the fics turned into three paragraphs made up of looong sentences.  So, really, I'm offering drabbles in some way ( Read more... )

Caution: May Be Hot
Rating: PG. Set pre-both-series.

A/N: uh - did I mention the three-line thing tends to get away from me! I tried!

- - - - -

It starts with a latte (well, no, it starts with her best friend ditching her and their long-planned vacation for a boy, and leaving her alone to amuse herself in Chicago, a city where she knows literally no one), so the latte is necessary, along with the whipped cream and the caramel swirly stuff and the extra chocolate sprinkles.

Of course (of freaking course!), emerging from the coffee shop, she stumbles, fumbles for the cup, and the lid comes off, the coffee out, all over the weathered jeans and the shoes of the guy trying to go in. “I’m . . .” she falters, too mortified to even apologize properly, as she watches the hot liquid (and the cream, the caramel, the extra chocolate) soak into his thigh. “Did it burn you ( ... )

Aw - you are too kind! I am very pleased you liked it. And thank you very much for putting the pairing in my mind! I may have to write them again . . .

Even though I'm still not watching CF (yet), and so can't properly appreciate the way you write Kelly... it feels SO GOOD to meet Lexie again. Thank you so much. And it IS Lexie, and now I need to know whether he was one of her kind of six, kind of seven!

It's kind of pathetic how much I still miss her.

Absolutely!! Also, I'm glad you enjoyed meeting Lexie again via me, and found her to be "Lexie" - that's awesome.

Not pathetic at all - characters get etched in our hearts, I think! I've been in total denial over Mark for months!

(yet)
A most excellent word!

Aww :D
I don't watch Chicago Fire but it's unbelievably cute! And so Lexie ;)

I really look foward to reading more of your fics after my exam in a week :)
(And maybe a sequel to this drabble? I would really like to have more Lexie-goodness pre-GA!)

Hey, it's nice of you to read these - and I'm glad you liked this one and felt for Alex in the other one. Thank you! Not sure about a sequel . . . thank you for asking!

Good luck for your exam.

Actually, anything with Lexie pre-GA would be pretty awesome. But you don't have to listen to me, I'm just an obsessed Lexie fan... Maybe I'll write something myself.

Thanks :)
