OK wow! So many feelings~! I'm going to try not to repeat things I've seen elsewhere, and just offer my own impressions. And mind these aren't all FIRST first impressions since I wanted to watch the whole thing uninterrupted, but I DID try to capture as many of my thoughts as I could from that first viewing on Sunday, plus a few more in-depth ( Read more... )

1. Errr, yeah, Goth TK was a thing, and like all stupid in-jokes, I guess you had to be there... but I swear, 15 years ago, it was freaking hilarious ^^;

2. I don't knowwwww! Kid just needs to pace himself! I guess "preoccupation with Mimi" is why he went on and on there but... it seemed like a lot of setup for something that was more efficiently conveyed a bit later by cute blushes!

3. Aah, no, sorry, I was bagging on the tri sequences, not Tamers! The Tamers ones were freaking AMAAAAZING!! And maybe these new evolutions were meant to be an homage to Tamers, who knows. But I tried to say Tamers did it WAY better, so these just seemed derivative and not as good!

Yeah, I think maybe watching them as episodes makes more sense based on how the action was broken up. I'm really confused about how they intended this to be shown-- episodes, or movies?? Yes, Hikari. Do more stuff. We demand it! XD

EDIT: Fixing typos that basically made the above incomprehensible. I blame the typing coma. Ehehehe...DX
