With the whole "sweeping mandate" thing that seems to be coming along with Barack Obama's victory, I thought that it was worth a look at what the "conservative" set had to say about things. Seems they're being more quiet than typical, but the folks at Redstate don't stop writing

That may not be too far off, for some.

Howard Stern (who I usually detest) did a bit on his show where they took McCain policies out to random people, just saying that they were Obama's and did these people agree with those ideas. The people they played on the air didn't even notice the switch, even when asked, "What do you think of his VP pick in Palin?" Just to be fair, they also had one recording of a McCain supporter that equally didn't catch that they were Obama's platforms (not McCain's), even when asked about the VP pick of Biden.

I know some people that really did know views on either side. Maybe not everything or as they changed, but did keep up somewhat.
