I always talk about Chekov and in Chekov's lit people are always talking about the Turgenev Novels, so i went out and got one of those, a play actually. A month in the Country. I think i remember some awesome BBC adaptation where the costumes and sets were outlandish and everyone spoke with hushed importance. The play is super long but ends

and to top that off, today in NYC a tomato fell off my pizza and onto my lap !!

however, to my dismay, i did not have any encounters with 18th century opium pipes.
