i'm really rather uneducated on the matter as well.
i know that to change contrast you use different filters.
that's about it!

there's a guy down the street who has a dark room in his garage, though.
taking a dual enrollment photography class at phcc! it should be free! :)

i wish that i had someone close to me who was a pro at all this photo stuff and i wouldn't feel stupid about asking all sorts of questions.

i know quite a bit about it, i took photo last year at school. if you plan on getting your own dark room, it takes a lot of equipment & stuff, but its worth it. you can prob. get a lot of it 2nd hand at photo shows & stuff.
i dont know, i guess if theres anything you need to know, just ask.

when developing your own film, you need to be in a room that has NO LIGHT. if there is any light when youre rolling your film, it will all be ruined ( ... )

youre very welcome!
haha alright. my screenname is still planesdivingdown
i have this camera, i believe [im not sure as i got it like, to years ago as a gift, &theres another one that looks exactly like that one on the website & i dont feel like running upstairs]. i love it. i got an A in photo with it. haha.

oh, & just so you know, all the equitement [like the dark room stuff that you do the pictures with] can be pretty expensive. i think what what we used in class was like, an omega5000 or something [i could be wrong!] & i think my teacher said that they can run for thousands of $$$ each

well someone above told me that you can get it all pretty cheap second hand, so i'll just be on the look out.
do you know how to do double exposure and all that?
when i develop my own pictures i want them to have that like.. raw look to them, do you know what i mean? id on't want them to look processed or else i'd just get a digital camera and print them out.
