Well, school's started again. I broke my record of not having missed any university classes on Thursday last week, by stupidly assuming that I had no class, and going to work to interview people instead. I feel so awful about it. But I emailed the prof, who said that many people didn't come, and offered to meet me during non-office hours and give ( Read more... )

You didn’t miss a single class last year? Not even the really early ones where you have to wake up at the crack of 10:30 to make it to on time?

Oh and apologies for the quick hi and bye the other day. I figured you guys could make the train if I didn’t keep you. And I later learned it was an important day for you anyway, so hopefully it worked out.

Are you doing coop right now? U thought you were in school!

Hey, don't worry about the hi/bye thing. We knew that's what you were thinking. And yeah, everything went really well.

We should get together for drinks or something soon. I miss you!

how is film 1000? i was going to take it but picked some canadian history course instead but i'm thinking that perhaps i want to drop that and switch to the film because it seems more appealing to me

ohhh and let me know your schedule and stuff, i'm only there 3 days a week but i'm considering joining the fitness thing there so i can get in shape so i may very well be there all week.

Well, considering I switched majors to film soley due to that class and my prof, I would give it two thumbs up. However, my prof isn't teaching film 100 this year, and I don't really know either of the other ones. But I can't imagine it beign too different. Definately better than history! yuck!

I'll email you a file with my schedule in it. That'd be easier than posting it here.

Good thing you didn't get lost. I hated the first few months at Carleton, because I was so nervous I'd get lost in the bowels of the school. It can really seem complicated. But when you get the hang of things, it's easy peasy. If you need any help, you can always call my cell, you know!

I'm in FILM 1000A, and the prof seems really great! He's got an amusing sense of humour and he's interesting in his lecture (at least so far, he only talked for about 45 minutes last night).
