Iruka
Iruka hadn't bothered to change out of his work clothes. He was still in his black slacks, worn dress shoes and white dress shirt, though he had loosened his tie slightly, as he stepped into the park that evening. Changing made the walk twice as much work, really, he wasn`t planning on doing anything strenuous. He had taken the computer out of his laptop bag and put a book and a sandwich for dinner to eat on a bench somewhere in its place. Better than in the cave of his aparment anyway. He started down the path looking for a promising spot.

Tsume
It was still cool enough that Tsume could get away with wearing sweats while jogging, and thus could easily conceal weapons on her body. Not that she needed one, with Kuromaru at her side, but all the same, she felt better with both dog and gun. It was a dangerous world out there. Her kids called her paranoid, but they hadn't seen half of what she had in her time. Besides, Mommy had enemies.

Running with Kuromaru was never too bad, she could run as fast as he could, at any rate, and this was just a light jog through the park. As they came down the path, Kuromaru barked, a warning that someone was in thier way.

Iruka
Iruka paused to look up and wonder when they had cut that patch of trees down, he needed to be more perceptive he supposed. When he looked back he saw a huge dog barreling in his direction. Despite his dress shoes he jumped off the path to one side to give the animal pleanty of room.

Tsume
Tsume followed and saw the man jump out of the way, and Kuromaru continued to back. She knew what that meant. Her familiar broke off the path and went to find a tree, while she came to a stop and stretched in front of the young man that had jumped out of the way. (Kuromaru had smelt chakra on him, and though he looked inconspicuous enough, really, so did she.)

Glancing again at the man, she was intruiged that she recognised him. He was one of the teachers at the high school, he'd taught Kiba. So teachers were getting in on ninja business these days? Interesting.

"Don't you teach at the high school?" she asked him.

Iruka
Iruka nodded and looked off after the huge dog the woman had been walking with. "Various social studies..." He said as he stepped back onto the path. "Thats some dog you've got there." He trailed off and looked at the way the woman was looking at him. Was she a parent? He did seem to remember her face...

Tsume
"Ahh, yes. I think you taught my Kiba," she said. "Kuromaru's actually part wolf, I think." She watched Kuomaru sniff around, the damned mutt could take his time when he had to co to the bathroom. She was prepared to clean up after him is needed but. . . .

Iruka
Iruka smiled "I can tell." He thought. "Kiba? I remember him..." Iruka rememberd most of the students from that first year very well, actually. That wasn't the full extent of the look though. Iruka was sure she could tell, somehow. Which meant she must be as well...

Tsume
"I hope he didn't give you as much trouble as he's given me," she said, rolling her eyes. She picked up something--ahh, over scrutinized. Kuromaru was lying down by the bushes, looking at her. Ohhh, that look. Stupid mutt, he was going to give her a hard time now? She resisted the urge to go over there and kick that dog's ass.

"Yeah, part wolf and all stubborn as a two year old," she said. His ears perked at that. "Yes, Kuromaru--I know you heard that." Damn dog.

Iruka
"No, He wasn't any trouble at all, really." Iruka said, stepping onto the path again. He looked towards the dog again. "You seem to get along well enough anyway, his stuborness aside."

Tsume
"Good, I wouldn't want him causing trouble," she said. Kuromaru got up and trotted back to Tsume's side. She offered Iruka her hand. "Inuzuka Tsume. And this is Kuromaru. He's been my companion for a long time, so while he's stubborn, we get along very well."

Iruka
"Umino Iruka." Iruka replied, shaking it, befroe he tapped his feet on the pavement to get any outstanding mud off. "I'm pleased to meet you both."

Tsume
Kuromaru wagged his tail, and Tsume rolled his eyes. "No, I don't think he has anything on him for you, you big lug," she said, scratching her dog's ears, and smiling. Her words might be sharp, but they were always said with love. The connection between the woman and the dog was strong. She unzipped a pocket, and pulled out a dog treat, and gave it to Kuromaru. "Stop begging. It's not becoming." Kuromaru made a whining noise, and then ate his treat.

Iruka
"Not having a furry family member of my own I am afriad I am not in the habbit of carrying dog treats." Iruka admitted. He put his hands in his pockets, and decided not to adress what they both must have noticed. "Well...it was nice meeting you. I guess I should leave you two to your jog."

Tsume
She nodded. "Well, he really doesn't need any more treats. This jog is just as much for keeping him in shape as it is for me." Kuromaru barked again, angrily. She rolled his eyes. "Don't even try that." She waved. "Later, Umino-san." She and Kuromaru headed off down the path again.
