Man... I remember I used to do that in-game, to get action pix and poses and so on, and I never downloaded anything special or did demorecords. So it's got to be a specific key to trigger it. I keep thinking Tab but pretty sure that was for The Sims.

I don't think I ever used a specific (3rd party) demo-launcher program, I think I always just launched my demo files from the game launcher executable.

Here are the commands from the STO wiki, which may be similar or the same as in CoH?

While playing back a demo, press F2 to toggle free camera mode. While in this mode, the camera is moved with the following controls:

Right mouse button - Rotate camera about its current position.
A and D - Mave camera left and right (along X-axis), relative to current camera direction.
W and S - Move camera in and out (along Z-axis), relative to current camera direction.
Q and Z - Move camera up and down (along Y-axis), relative to current camera direction.

Yes, that WORKED! When I tried it before, I was using the wrong keys to attempt movement, so it wasn't doing anything, so I thought it didn't work.
