Man, being stuck in the hospital really sucks.

You're poked and prodded and pricked and stabbed like a human pincushion for countless tests and labs which they don't even make it a point to tell you the point of, let alone the outcomes.

Then of course there's the hospital clothes. Basically the exact things you wear in prison except these

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis about 9 years ago. Turns out it was a misdiagnoses and has now been established as Crohn's Disease.

Anyway, I had an extremely bad flare-up and had to come into the hospital early Sunday morning. I've been here since then getting pumped full of i.v. fluids and drugs and blah blah blah. Now I'm on oral meds again, about 15 pills per day, which I'll have to continue taking for the rest of my days. lol. I'll have to get a pill organizer like an old lady.

Anyway, today around noon the doctor said I would okay to be discharged, which restarted my hope of making it to the show tonight. But it's been nearly 4 hours now with no word and I'm losing hope again.

I have tickets for tonight and tomorrow night in Minneapolis and Friday night in Milwaukee with a hotel and everything, but the future is looking awfully grim at this moment.
