chloe was born at 1057am after 50 something hours of labor. shes 5lbs 8oz and will be 38 weeks tommorow, she is 18 inches long too. shes already a champ at breastfeeding and latching on, she ate off one boob for 15 minutes then ate off the other for 25 minutes with no problems

Enjoy her this small. Honestly, within the next week, she will look totally different, and she will just keep changing. Just look at her as much as you can, take it in and keep it in your memory.

i was in the hospital a full 72 hours before i had her and at least 50 of those hours i was having contractions so i figure that means 50 hours of labor, right? i had an epidural most of the time, i got it once i got to 3cm but halfway through it stopped working :( it only would numb my legs not my stomach so i could all my contractions then when i actually pushed it was completely worn off and nobody would give me more so i felt her coming out 100%. they said my pelvis is super super small (they checked i guess?) and that if i had a much bigger baby i probably would have needed a c-section!

That is def. 50 hours of labor! Oh my WOW. I can't believe you felt all those contractions too, I would have DIED. It's a damn good thing she is a peanut then, because even with all that pain, c-sections are WORSE. My friend had one and she couldn't walk straight up for a week, and she couldn't go NEAR stairs for about 4.. At least you'll be up and at it in a few days haha
I can't believe they wouldn't give you another epideral, what ass holes! Is your doctor a man?! Does he NOT understand the pain? lol

haha they wouldnt do it because when i had mine i couldnt push right and at that point they needed to get her out asap because her heartrate was decreasing with each push.

Haha, its okay I've been one even before I had her! Now I'm really one. Shes gotten good at latching on. We've only bf'd twice so far and the second time was rough at first, she wouldn't eat off my right boob for some reason so I switched her after an hour of nothing and she ate for 25 minutes straight off my left boob! Shes been good about it though and I'm so happy that nobody had to give her formula or gave her anything including bottles.

chloe has that same outfit bailey has in your user picture! :) i love it. she would swim in hers, its so big on her. shes wearin premiee right now and theyre still pretty big on her.
