PLOT UPDATE: PHASE OH SNAP.

Overview:
There's even more trouble brewing in the City. While the efforts of those remaining in the city continue, using crypted codes to deliver messages and assisting the injured city residents, those who have been captured have a whole new set of problems headed their way.

As it turns out, the captives are not far from the City of Solace. They've been taken aboard a grand airship, hovering barely a mile away from the city limits while the smaller enemy ships remain closer in order to snatch up any foreigners they'd missed in the first raid. Those who've joined Lenalee's airship raid are exempt, and the Grey General has set up standard communications with the enemy ships so that the hijacked ship does not appear to have been taken over. Be sneaky, you guys.

The captives on board the enemy's much grander ship will soon awake to the heavy doors of their separated rooms opening wide, and commanding voices telling them to get up. Anyone trying to make a break for it - or alternatively, to break any captor's noses - will be unable to do so, as the Avaticans are expecting some level of resistance and have developed new collars to keep you under control in the best of ways; that being, force. Try all you want, there just ain't no way the darn things are coming off. And golly, they're tight. Avaticans will control you in any way they can, be in an electric shock, or a command you would normally refuse but this time are compelled to follow through.

The captives will be lead, or dragged away to four separate areas of the airship, left in silence for a long while. But a very unpleasant plan is in the works while the captives bide their time.

The first group of captives are lead to the starboard side, and are dubbed Harmless. They've shown to have no outstanding physical skills or abilities that would either be useful or threatening to the Avatican Empire, and will be assigned to simple duties to keep them occupied. The ship gets messy, there's a kitchen, so plenty of tasks for the harmless group. Shoe shining, perhaps.

The next group is sent to a larger room on the port side. They are the Useful group. They've been observed while in the city and have been determined to be of some use in battle or the labs for the Empire. Of course, they're expecting some of you to object and resist, and well. They have ways of making you cooperate.

The third group will be sent to the Northernmost point of the ship, labeled to be Turncoats. So, Solace not working out for you very well? Avatican scientists and soldiers have a few bargains planned should you choose to join them. Perhaps you'd be in it for the money, or maybe you hate those collar curses too much. Or mayhaps there's someone dear to you on board the ship. Wouldn't want anything unfortunate to happen to them, hm?

The final group of foreigners is lead to different areas on the lower end of the ship. These are the Test Subjects. Rather than being kept in a group, each captive test subject will be sent to an isolated chamber with only a small, barred window to look outside. The Academics are very intrigued by the subjects strange abilities and wish to investigate further; the treatment your character undergoes will be left to your discretion, but be sure not to have any side effects that suddenly give your character the ability to crush the planet between their fingers. We kind of don't want that.

Once each group is lead to their respective quarters of the ship, they will be left to their own devices for the remainder of the day, and next morning they will be given their ultimatums. What you do with the time you have until then is your choice.

ETC:
If you haven't already, please reply to this entry stating which group each of your characters should be in or why. Otherwise, we'll just be throwing you into a group based on our judgement, or possibly a dice roll. And that's never done anybody any favours.

And as usual, if you're on hiatus, you're exempt from this event for now and we'll come up with a proper excuse upon your return. New characters brought in to the game after the first raid will be in the City, probably wondering what the heck this is all about. Avaticans do sweeping raids once every week or two, so be sure to let the resistance group started by Lenalee know that hey, you need rescuing. Or, if you'd rather be captured, just say hi and tell her you like her boots.

If you have any questions/comments/concerns/plot ideas, by all means leave us a message here or contact any of the mods.
